Find Harmony Counselling

A Safe Space for Your Well-Being

Welcome to Find Harmony Counselling

Welcome to Find Harmony Counselling, a compassionate and person-centred counselling service dedicated to supporting your mental health and emotional well-being. I’m Sarah, a qualified Therapeutic Counsellor based in Kirk Hammerton, offering a warm and confidential space where you can freely explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

Life can be overwhelming at times, and it’s completely okay to seek support. Whether you're struggling with grief, anxiety, loss, or life’s many challenges, I am here to walk alongside you. Our journey together begins with a free phone consultation, giving us the opportunity to connect, discuss your needs, and explore whether counselling with me feels right for you.

My Approach

You Are at the Heart of Our Sessions

My role is to create a non-judgemental, empathetic, and supportive environment where you feel truly heard and understood. Our sessions are guided by you – your needs, your pace, and your experiences. Whether you need a space to process difficult emotions, gain clarity, or build self-awareness, I will provide compassionate support tailored to you.

A Little About Me

Warmth, empathy, and genuine understanding are at the heart of my practice – not just because of my professional training, but because I have personally experienced the transformative power of counselling.

After a bereavement in 2007, I turned to counselling in 2009 to help navigate my own grief and anxiety. That experience changed my life and ignited a passion for helping others in the same way. In 2020, after being made redundant, I saw an opportunity to follow my heart and retrain as a counsellor. I completed Levels 2, 3, and 4 in Therapeutic Counselling, gaining my full qualification. During my training, I volunteered at Serendipity and Askham Bryan College, supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Today, I bring both my personal insight and professional expertise to my work, offering a safe and compassionate space for anyone in need of support. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) – No. 410349 and currently serve as the North Yorkshire Co-ordinator for Way Widowed and Young.

Let’s Take the First Step Together

Seeking support is a courageous step, and you don’t have to do it alone. If you're ready to explore whether counselling with me is right for you, I’d love to hear from you. Get in touch today to arrange your free initial phone consultation – together, we can find harmony in your journey.

Victoria was fantastic from start to finish. She went above and beyond, was super lovely and I've got a stunning frame that I'll cherish forever.

Vicky did an absolutely fantastic job of preserving both my wife's bouquet and my buttonhole from our wedding in July. The end results are stunning and really show off the flowers. We're both so pleased...a massive thank you

Vicky, what can I say, you have done a wonderful job in preserving the flowers from my Dad’s funeral. The heart shape is perfect and just so special. What a fabulous service. So personal. Thank you Vicky ❤️
